
PLYMOUTH — On Aug. 29, at 6:50 a.m., Plymouth Officers were southbound on Michigan St. from Jefferson and saw a vehicle with no headlights on coming northbound on Michigan St., and turned their headlights off and on to let the driver know that their lights weren’t on.
The car passed and failed to turn on the lights. The car, driven by Josue Isal Amaya-Orellana, 24, of Plymouth, continued without stopping until just north of Baker St. on Michigan St.
Officers asked for license, registration and insurance and Amaya-Orellana provided a Honduran ID card. He was asked if he had a driver’s license and told the officer “no”. He was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall Co. Jail.
PLYMOUTH — On Aug. 28 at 9:56 p.m., Plymouth Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at N Michigan St. and Franklin St. for failure to maintain lane.
The driver of the vehicle, Jose Alexander Juarez Zuniga, 58, of Plymouth, was found to be operating the vehicle without ever obtaining a license. Juarez Zuniga was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail.
PLYMOUTH — On Aug. 28 at 3:19 p.m., officers with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle whose registered owner showed a suspended driver’s status.
Officers confirmed through the BMV photo that the driver matched the registered owner. The vehicle stopped at Advance Auto Parts, where the driver was identified as Anthony McGowen, 30 years old, from North Judson, Indiana. A records check confirmed that McGowen’s driving status was suspended prior. He was taken into custody, transported to the Marshall County Jail.
PLYMOUTH — On the morning of Aug. 29, at 5:30 am, Plymouth Police conducted a traffic stop on Michigan Street, South of Washington Street, for moving violations.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as 27-year-old Leidy Ordonez-Vargas of Plymouth. Ordonez-Vargas was found to have never been issued a drivers license.
She was taken into custody for operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license and transported to the Marshall County Jail.
Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
