While working the DUI Task Force, Marshall County Deputies stopped a car for speeding. While interacting with the driver, Ryan W. Hayes, 44, the Marshall County Deputy observed an open container.
After some investigation it was believed the driver had operated the vehicle while intoxicated.
Hayes was taken to the Marshall County Jail on charges of operating while intoxicated, operating with a controlled substance in the body, possession of marijuana.
Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
