
PLYMOUTH — On Sept. 1, at 2 a.m., a Plymouth Police Officer was patrolling the area of Jefferson St. and Oak Dr. and observed a blue Mountaineer traveling eastbound on Jefferson St. at a speed of 42MPH. A traffic stop was initiated, and it was found that Austin O’Connor, 36, of Plymouth, was found to be under the influence of alcohol. Standardized Field Sobriety Testing was conducted on O’Connor, and a preliminary breath test showed a result of .161 breath alcohol content.
O’Connor was given a certified chemical test and then transported to the Marshall County Jail, where he was lodged for Operating While Intoxicated- Class C Misdemeanor.
PLYMOUTH — On Aug. 30, at 11:14 p.m., Marshall County Central Dispatch received a 911 call of an impaired/unsafe driver. The caller advised that the vehicle was all over the roadway. The caller stayed on 911, and Plymouth Police officers were able to locate and conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle.
It was discovered that twenty-year-old Ronny J. Bohorquez-Barboza of Plymouth was found to be driving the vehicle and was later transported to the Marshall County Jail, where he was booked and lodged for Operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-Endangerment, Operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, Operating without ever receiving a license, and Illegal Consumption of an alcoholic beverage.
PLYMOUTH — On Sept. 1 at 10:50 p.m., a Plymouth Police officer was conducting a traffic stop on a speeding vehicle on US 31 near US 30.
During that traffic stop, a second vehicle failed to slow down and move over before passing the stationary vehicles. A traffic stop was conducted on the second vehicle in the area of US 31 and 9A road.
The driver, Alexander Johnson, 18, of Michigan City, was taken into custody for Reckless Driving and transported to the Marshall County Jail.
Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
