On Sept. 9, at 8:02 p.m., a black Kia Optima was stopped on US31 southbound at 17th road by Marshall County Deputies for several traffic infractions and a speed of 91 in a 60.
The driver, Itesha Nelson, of South Bend, was arrested and charged with Reckless Driving. She was taken to the Marshall County Jail.
Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
