The 2019 Salary Ordinance was up for council consideration when Argos officials met for their final meeting of the year last week.
The salary ordinance was constructed with the assistance of the company New Focus HR. Clerk-Treasurer Lisa Mullaney noted that the ordinance included about a 2 percent increase across the board. However, the amount given to each employee was dependent on their performance review.
Farm lease bids were opened by Argos Town Council members when they met last week. Members previously held a public hearing over the lease during a November meeting and accepted bids up until Wednesday, December 5th. Continue reading
