Argos Town Council members recently considered a CF-1 form submitted by the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation.
Businesses that have been granted tax abatements must submit CF-1 forms each year so officials can assess their compliance to determine whether or not to continue supplying the abatement.
The MCEDC submitted a form regarding the Argos Manufacturing Center. Officials approved the document and will continue to offer the tax abatement for that property.
The Manufacturing Center is located on Dewey Street. According to the entry about the facility on the MCEDC’s website, it a 50,000 square foot building that’s expandable to 300,000 square feet located within a 73.6 acre Shovel Ready certified park next to US highway 31.
Officials note that the spec building offers a flexible, industrial space allowing manufacturing prospects to place equipment in less than 120 days from execution of letter of intent to purchase or lease.
Individuals interested in utilizing the property are encouraged to contact MCEDC President and CEO Jerry Chavez at 574-935-8499.
