Argos Officials Appoint Police Commission Member, Discuss Plan Commission Openings

Argos Town Council members replaced a member of the police commission when they met last week.

Members were informed that commission member Harrison Parton submitted his resignation and that Ronda Davis had submitted a letter of interest to fill the open spot.

After the council cast a unanimous vote to accept the resignation and approve the new Police Commission appointment, President Null mentioned another commission that is still in need of members.

Null explained that there are still two town government positions available on the Plan Commission. He noted that means it would be open to department heads and any other individuals who serve in a town government position.

If you would be eligible for either of these open seats and you’d like some additional information, contact the Clerk-Treasurer’s office at (574) 892-5717.
