Quotes for Water and Wastewater Department Trucks Opened at Plymouth BOW Meeting
Plymouth Board of Works members heard quotes for trucks that will be purchased for the Water Department and Wastewater Department when they met last Monday. City Attorney Sean Surrisi opened the quotes and read them out loud to enter them into the record.
He said the first quote received for the Water Department truck came from the Plymouth dealership Oliver Ford who submitted a base quote of $30,510 and provided a trade-in value for a 1999 Ford F250 Pick UP truck of $650, bringing the net total to $29,860. Continue reading
Plymouth BOW Members Approve Police Vehicle Purchase, Officer Promotions
The Plymouth Police Department will be getting two new police vehicles.
The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members approved a quote from Oliver Ford in Plymouth for two vehicles for the police department. The quote was for $28,150 per unit with two trade-ins. A 2011 Ford Crown Victoria will be traded in at a cost of $1,500 and a 2013 Dodge Charger will be traded in at a cost of $2,500.
Sheriff to Buy Squad Cars, Presents DEA Report
Marshall County Sheriff Matt Hassel asked the county commissioners Monday morning to purchase four new squad cars for the department.
Hassel explained that the four vehicles will be purchased from Oliver Ford in Plymouth for $103,996 which includes state bids quotes with trade-in values. Funding for the purchase is included in his budget for the year. The commissioners unanimously approved the request.
Over $4,000 Collected for Plymouth Band Boosters at “Driven to Give” Fundraiser
Last year, more than $4,000 was raised for the Plymouth Band Boosters through a “Driven to Give” fundraising event sponsored by Oliver Ford Lincoln in Plymouth.
According to a press release, about 200 people turned up on a chilly day in November to test drive vehicles in order to assist the band program. Continue reading
