Two More Lawsuits Filed in Connection with Last Month’s Fatal School Bus Crash

More lawsuits have been filed in connection with last month’s fatal crash involving an Eastern Pulaski school bus. According to court documents filed with the Marshall County Clerk’s Office, Amber Despot, the mother of one of the passengers, is suing the driver of the truck that allegedly crashed into the bus, along with the truck’s owner.

Today is the absolute last day that voters can register or update their registration information.

Marshall County Clerk Shares Important Dates Related to the Election

The Marshall County Election Board members reviewed the ballot for the General Election when they met Tuesday morning. County Clerk Deb VanDeMark noted that precinct copies were also received on Tuesday and those were forwarded to the election board members for their review.

Time is Running Out to File for One of the Open Argos School Board Seats

If you’re interested in serving as one of the very first elected Argos School Board members, you have until noon on Friday, August 24th to file in the Marshall County Clerk’s Office.
