Plymouth Redevelopment Commission Discusses Aquatics Center Paperwork
The Plymouth Redevelopment Commission members learned this week that paperwork to narrow down the guaranteed maximum price for the Aquatics Center is being finalized. The price for the Early Childhood Learning Center is already determined. The price has been agreed upon to properly close out the paperwork concerning the new market tax credits paperwork.

Plymouth City Council Considers Establishing Funds Related to Multi-Million Dollar Aquatics Center Project
Plymouth City Council members held the first readings over two ordinances that would establish funds related to the major projects on Miller Drive when they met for their final meeting in May.
The city recently sold two bonds that generated approximately $6.6 million dollars for these projects.
As previously reported, the projects on Miller Drive will include the construction of a 10-lane indoor pool facility, a new building for the Marshall County Community Foundation offices and an early childhood learning center. Annual Operation Report for Local Roads and Streets Considered by Plymouth City Council
The 2017 annual Operations Report for Local Roads and Streets was submitted to Plymouth City Council members Monday night.
Street Superintendent Jim Marquardt and City Engineer Rick Gaul completed the documents and submitted them to the council for consideration. Clerk-Treasurer Jeanine Xaver explained that this report has to be submitted annually since the city receives funding from the Indiana Department of Transportation. Continue reading
CF-1 Forms for Pretzels Inc and Zentis Food Solutions Considered at Plymouth City Council Meeting
Plymouth City Council members reviewed the compliance of particular companies where tax abatements were granted when the CF-1 Forms for snack manufacturer Pretzels Inc. and the food product supplier Zentis were considered during Monday night’ city council meeting.

Members of the City of Plymouth Fee Schedule Subcommittee met Tuesday morning to go over proposed fee increases for each department. The main reason for the review of fees is to help each department cover their costs instead of using taxpayer money to subsidize deficits.
Plymouth City Council Hears Request from Fire Department’s Relay for Life Team
A representative of the Plymouth Fire Department came before the city council, to submit an application for the exemption of licensing requirements when members met last Monday.
Jim Budd told council members that the Fire Department is raising funds for the Marshall County Relay for Life. He requested permission to collect donations on the corners of Jefferson Street and Michigan Street from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 2nd, with a potential rain date of June 9th. A hearing was held over a waiver of non-compliance form submitted by DAC Enterprise during Monday night’s Plymouth City Council meeting.

An outdated doorway that could very possibly be violating modern safety requirements is looking like it will be replaced, following a decision made by Plymouth City Council members Monday night.
Members considered a resolution to approve a commercial revitalization rebate program grant application submitted by Marshall Clevenger.
