Steps Being Taken to Memorialize Current Lincoln Junior High School Building

As Lincoln Junior High School prepares to move into its new building next year, students and staff are taking time to preserve some of the current building’s history. Later this month, former students, teachers, and the rest of the community will have the chance to visit the current Lincoln Junior High during its final year of operations.

New Lincoln Junior High School Construction Remains On-Schedule

Progress continues at the new Lincoln Junior High School, despite some wintry weather recently. Project Manager Derek Anderson told the Plymouth School Board Tuesday that brickwork is about 60 to 70 percent complete. Inside, the walls are up in the future administrative offices, and all of the kitchen walls are done.

Plymouth School Board to Vote on 2020 Budget Tonight

The Plymouth Community School Corporation’s 2020 budget will be up for adoption during tonight’s school board meeting. It calls for a total budget of more than $36 million. Just over $20 million of that is the Education Fund, with an Operations Fund of more than $9 million. The 2020 capital projects and bus replacement plans will also be up for board approval.
