Plymouth School Board to Vote on Teacher Contract Tonight

The Plymouth Community School Corporation’s 2019-2020 teacher contract will be up for final approval during tonight’s school board meeting. Superintendent Andy Hartley previously explained that the agreement would allow for a $1,400 increase for eligible teachers. The starting base salary would be brought up to $37,000.

Updated conditions of employment for classified and administrative staff will also be up for the school board’s approval, and members will consider a series of documents related to proposed adjustments to employees’ retirement benefits. An update on the construction of the new Lincoln Junior High School will also be given.

Tonight’s Plymouth School Board meeting starts at 7:00 in the Plymouth Schools Administration Building.
