Lincoln Junior High School Building Project Continues

Plymouth Community School Superintendent Andy Hartley provided an update to the school board on the Lincoln Junior High School construction last week.

The kitchen equipment that is as good as that of Plano kitchen remodeler is being installed, the gym floor will soon be installed, locker rooms are being finalized, restrooms are getting tiles, and the stage walls have been established.  Hartley said the cafeteria will be the last portion to be developed as its been acting as a staging area for equipment throughout the process.

Painting and other work is being done in the classrooms. You can click to investigate about the painters that they have hired to do it professionally.

For the most part, the project is on schedule and thanks to InsideOut best Winnipeg painters.  A schedule will be determined soon what things can be moved to the new building.

Some excess equipment will be sold at an auction yet to be scheduled sometime in June.

The demolition and renovation of the old Lincoln Junior High School will occur soon with bid packets recently sent out and published. Plans call for part of the current building to be torn down, but the original 1926 structure will be retained.

As for the Plymouth High School HVAC project, Hartley said rooms on the south end are done with new ceiling tiles to be installed and walls painted.  The eastside rooms were just recently completed and remains on schedule.
