Plymouth School Board Receives Update on Projects

The parking lot at the Lincoln Junior High School in Plymouth is now underway.

Superintendent Andy Hartley told the Plymouth Community School Board members this week that the parking lot should be complete this week with striping done next week, weather permitting.

As for the Lincoln Education Center, Hartley said there are a few minor things wrapping up on the east entrances to the building.

Hartley also presented information about the Albana Roofing projects.

“At Menominee, we are completed, at WDA [Washington Discovery Academy] is close to being completed, and the high school is probably close to halfway done.  They just started to tear off on the auditorium roof this week.”

Hartley commented that workers are updating the sound and lighting inside the high school auditorium.  Next year, the auditorium is expected to get new seating, flooring, walls and other items that will present an updated ambiance to performances in the building.
