Plymouth School Board Chooses Contractor for Asbestos Abatement

The Plymouth School Board members reviewed a recommendation for a contractor to conduct asbestos abatement at Lincoln Junior High School.

Plymouth Community School Superintendent Andy Hartley said the lowest bid came from Protechs Incorporated for $77,882.50 and a cash allowance of $25,000 for extra work to be completed on a unit price basis. 

Three bids were received for the project.  Environmental Assurance Company, Inc. and National Environmental Services Corporation were the other two bidders.
