Plymouth School CorporationThe Plymouth Community School Corporation is using a legal tactic to help them finance future renovations to several of its facilities.

The $2-million project will expand seating at the athletic complex and upgrade restrooms and ticket offices. Construction will also provide more space for meetings and file storage at the School Corporation’s Administration Building.

Plymouth Schools Update Technology Use Policy

Students in Plymouth schools will notice a few changes to their technology use policy when they return to school in August.

During Tuesday night’s Plymouth School Board meeting, the Responsible Use Policy was reviewed. The policy is designed to protect the school corporation from liability in the instance their technology is used for harmful or illegal activities and was developed with the help of administrators and the technology department.

Riverside Students Follow Doghouse Campaign with Thousands Raised for Cancer Research

Students in the Plymouth School Corporation are learning about health and, at the same time, raising funds for cancer research.

Riverside Intermediate School raised $3,500 and presented a check on Tuesday to Marshall County Relay for Life. This is the second year the school has undertaken several events to help fundraise for a cure, according to a news release.

Plymouth School Board Considers Additional Services, Debt Refinance

The Plymouth School Corporation is preparing to make a few changes to both its finances and curriculum.

During Tuesday night’s regularly scheduled meeting, School Board members will consider adopting curricula recommended for social studies courses. Typically, committees review the available options for some time prior to introducing the curriculum for students.
