Sheriff’s deputies say they pulled over a Chevrolet Blazer in the area of Michigan Road and Tyler Road near Lakeville around 12:30 a.m. Police say the driver, Craig Alan Highland, 61, of Lakeville, was found to be in possession of marijuana, a legend drug, a controlled substance, and paraphernalia.

Around 3:20 a.m., Marshall County Police say they got a call about gun shots fired and suspicious activity in the area of Union Road and 8th Road. A little later, the caller said the vehicle had left, but then called back saying the vehicle had returned and was now driving by slowly using a spotlight on a group of deer in a field.
