Plymouth Man Who Reportedly Led Police on a Chase to the County Line Faces Resisting Law Enforcement Charge, Among Others

A Plymouth man was taken into custody Thursday morning, after allegedly fleeing from police.

Plymouth Police Department K9 Officer John Weir reports that shortly after 8 a.m., he initiated a traffic stop on a gold Honda Accord for an infraction. The driver, 35-year-old Gary Werb reportedly fled the scene in his vehicle. Continue reading

Plymouth BOW Members Approve Police Vehicle Purchase, Officer Promotions

The Plymouth Police Department will be getting two new police vehicles.

The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members approved a quote from Oliver Ford in Plymouth for two vehicles for the police department. The quote was for $28,150 per unit with two trade-ins. A 2011 Ford Crown Victoria will be traded in at a cost of $1,500 and a 2013 Dodge Charger will be traded in at a cost of $2,500.

Plymouth Police Looking for Battery Suspect

The Plymouth Police Department is asking the public for information on the location of 26-year-old Aaron Sneed.

Sneed is wanted on several warrants and a charge of battery on a law enforcement officer. He is a Caucasian male, 5’10” and 145 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen driving a gray or silver Dodge full-size pickup truck with Indiana license plate number Tk114MYY. The pickup has a red tailgate.

Marshall County Coroner Releases Name of Deceased Man Found Saturday Evening

The Marshall County Coroner has released the name of the man who was found deceased in a Plymouth home on Saturday, January 27th.

As previously reported, Plymouth Police, Paramedics and Firefighters were dispatched to a house on West LaPorte Street, Saturday evening. An unresponsive male subject, later identified as 50-year-old Joseph F. Dillard, was found in an upstairs bedroom. According to the news release, he was not breathing and had no pulse. Plymouth Police Department, Coroner Investigate Death

The Marshall County Coroner and the Plymouth Police Department are investigating an unattended death.

According to the Plymouth Police Department, officers were called to a home in the 300 block of W. LaPorte Street just before 7 p.m. Saturday night where they reportedly found a deceased man. A woman inside the home was not breathing. Police say CPR was performed on the woman and she was transported to the hospital by Plymouth EMS officials.
