A traffic stop in Plymouth Saturday led to the arrest of two South Bend residents. Plymouth Police say they pulled over a vehicle driven by Anne L. Huston, 37, just after 6:30 p.m. near Michigan Street and U.S. 30.

Two Minnesota residents with active warrants reportedly led police on a chase through Marshall County Tuesday evening. It began when a Plymouth Police officer pulled over a car in the 2200 block of North Michigan Street at around 5:15. Police say the driver, Ace Blahoski, 31, of Miltona, Minnesota and the passenger, Jean Kelly, 33, of Willmar, Minnesota both had warrants out of Minnesota.

A report of a theft at the Plymouth Walmart led to the arrest of an Ora man, but not before police reportedly found drugs in his possession. Plymouth Police say that around 10:00 Thursday night, they got a call of a theft in progress. When officers got to Walmart, they say they found Charles E. Jensen, 45, cutting items out of packages. Police took him into custody and reportedly found him to be in possession of a legend drug.

A Plymouth theft investigation led to the arrest of a Rochester man for drug-related offenses. Plymouth Police say it happened Wednesday afternoon near First and Madison streets. Last month, Governor Eric Holcomb launched a program that gives metal detector wands to every school that requests them. But it doesn’t provide funding for guards to staff a security checkpoint.
