Sheriff’s Department Upgrades Dash Cams

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department is updating several of the dash cameras in its police cruisers.

During Monday morning’s Marshall County Commissioner’s meeting, Sheriff Matt Hassel made the request to purchase three new dash cams. The catch is that the company typically used for such purchases is getting out of the business.

Marshall Commissioners Recommend Funding Elevator Upgrades

Aging elevators at the Marshall County Courthouse are prompting the maintenance department to recommend a fix.

The Courthouse in Plymouth has two elevators, north and south, that have been a mixture of benefits and problems for the maintenance crew. A company is contracted to help maintain the elevators, which has advised the elevators are aging past their usefulness.

Click-It or Ticket Campaign Promotes Safety, Better Enforcement

Click it or TicketThe Marshall County Sheriff’s Department says they will once again be participating in the national Click-It or Ticket campaign.

Efforts are supported by federal funding from the Traffic Safety Division of the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute, and are designed to remind motorists to wear a seat belt while driving.
