Plymouth Woman Arrested Following Friday Night Crash

A Plymouth woman was arrested, following a crash in Marshall County Friday night. Sheriff’s deputies were called to the 11,000 block of Muckshaw Road around 9:30 p.m. Officers suspect Brandy E. Ray, 41, was under the influence of controlled substances when she allegedly drove off the roadway, hit another vehicle that had pulled off the road to get out of her way, and ended up in a swamp.

Suspected Meth Dealer Arrested after Pursuit through Plymouth

A suspected meth dealer was apprehended, following a pursuit through Plymouth Thursday. The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department says that just before noon, county officers and Plymouth Police were attempting to stop Jason Clark Joseph, 44, of Plymouth, for a “controlled substance related criminal offense,” following an investigation by the Marshall County Drug Task Force.

Alleged Drunk Driver Arrested after Reportedly Trying to Flee from Police with Two Kids in Minivan

Trying to flee from police while under the influence of alcohol with his two kids in the minivan is what police say landed a Plymouth man in jail Thursday night. Marshall County Police say that just after 11:30 p.m., they were made aware of a drunk driver with his two juvenile children with him. A short time later, they were reportedly told that the man was going to a home in the 13,000 block of 5th Road.

Plymouth School Superintendent Praises Efforts of Bus Driver, Police in Recent Incidents

Plymouth School Superintendent Andy Hartley is expressing his gratitude to school employees and emergency responders, after a pair of incidents last month. On October 11, one of the corporation’s buses was taking students home from their last day of class before fall break, when Marshall County Police say it was hit by a car that ran a red light at U.S. 30 and King Road.

Woman Arrested after Police Report Finding Marijuana, Cocaine during Traffic Stop

A woman was arrested on suspicion of drug possession, following a Marshall County traffic stop Friday night. Marshall County Police say they pulled over a Jeep on U.S. 31 near 4A Road shortly before 9:00 p.m. and detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside. Officers searched the vehicle and reportedly found marijuana, marijuana paraphernalia, cocaine, and ecstasy pills.

Woman Injured, Elkhart Man Arrested, After Sunday Morning Motorcycle Crash

An Elkhart man was arrested, after police say he crashed a motorcycle while under the influence of alcohol, injuring his female passenger. Marshall County Police say they were called to the area of U.S. 6 and U.S. 31 at around 1:15 Sunday morning, after getting a report of a woman walking down the road with visible injuries. After investigating, officers believe that Dustin Isaiah Cavinder, 42, had been operating a motorcycle with the woman as a passenger, when he crashed on U.S. 6, just west of U.S. 31.
