A man wanted by Terre Haute Police on suspicion of murder was taken into custody in Plymouth Thursday. Marshall County Police say Terre Haute officers asked them to help find Jeffrey William Recupido, 33, of Terre Haute, who they believed was staying in the Plymouth area.

A Rochester man was arrested, following a Marshall County traffic stop Wednesday night. Sheriff’s deputies say they pulled over a Chevrolet HHR in the area of U.S. 31 and 16th Road around 8:30 p.m. An Indiana State Police K-9 arrived and reportedly helped police find a syringe and a small amount of methamphetamine.

A Plymouth woman was arrested, following a crash in Marshall County Friday night. Sheriff’s deputies were called to the 11,000 block of Muckshaw Road around 9:30 p.m. Officers suspect Brandy E. Ray, 41, was under the influence of controlled substances when she allegedly drove off the roadway, hit another vehicle that had pulled off the road to get out of her way, and ended up in a swamp.

A suspected meth dealer was apprehended, following a pursuit through Plymouth Thursday. The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department says that just before noon, county officers and Plymouth Police were attempting to stop Jason Clark Joseph, 44, of Plymouth, for a “controlled substance related criminal offense,” following an investigation by the Marshall County Drug Task Force.

Marshall County Police say that just after 11:30 p.m., they were made aware of a drunk driver with his two juvenile children with him. An Elkhart man was arrested, after police say he crashed a motorcycle while under the influence of alcohol, injuring his female passenger. Marshall County Police say they were called to the area of U.S. 6 and U.S. 31 at around 1:15 Sunday morning, after getting a report of a woman walking down the road with visible injuries. After investigating, officers believe that Dustin Isaiah Cavinder, 42, had been operating a motorcycle with the woman as a passenger, when he crashed on U.S. 6, just west of U.S. 31.
