A Bourbon man arrested for violating a protective order is now also accused of possession of meth and disorderly conduct. Marshall County Police say they were called to the 4400 block of State Road 10 shortly after 8:00 a.m. Saturday and arrested Charles Wade Steinman, 22, for the violation of the protective order. As they continued investigating, officers say they found narcotics and paraphernalia.

A fight at the Marshall County Jail ended with an inmate being taken to the hospital Friday afternoon. Sheriff Matt Hassel says the fight apparently started between two inmates and then a third joined in. Hassel says three jail officers were called to the area to stop the fight.

A Goshen man was arrested after allegedly trying to flee from Plymouth Police Wednesday night. Officers say that around 10:30 p.m., they tried to pull over a vehicle that had been speeding and disregarding several stop signs in a residential area in Plymouth. But the driver allegedly fled from police, both in the vehicle and on foot.
