Indiana State Police say Renee Stouder, 61, of Bourbon and Susan Konkle, 62, of rural Rochester, had to be airlifted, after the pickup truck they were in was rear-ended by a semi while stopped at a red light at Business U.S. 31.

A crash in Rochester sent five people to the hospital Friday evening. Indiana State Police say it happened just after 6:00 at U.S. 31 and Sweetgum Road. Troopers believe John Hogan, 43, of rural Macy, Indiana, was driving a Toyota Corolla southwest on Sweetgum Road and pulled into the path of a northbound Nissan Sentra driven by Angela Collins, 49, of Indianapolis.
