The Bourbon Town Council approved quote for a new Police Department vehicle when members met last Tuesday.
Clerk-Treasurer Kim Berger said the members selected a quote from Oliver Ford for a 2020 F1-50 truck. The quote that was approved totaled $36,896.
Berger explained that the new truck will be purchased after the first of the year and will bring the Department up to four vehicles. She added that no vehicles will be traded in because officials would like to keep one on hand for officers in the reserve program.
