press release drawing attention to what has been viewed as a local public healthcare crisis as a result of
St. Joseph Health System’s recent closure of physician practices throughout the county and the
discontinuation of other medical services at the Plymouth hospital campus.
The Saint Joseph Health System is hosting a local vaccination clinic for first, second and booster COVID-19 vaccines Friday, January 28 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. ET at the LifePlex at 2855 Miller Drive in Plymouth.

According to Debbie Berger, the Community Health and Wellness representative of Saint Joseph Health System, the shots are available to everyone, with no income or insurance restrictions.
However, they do ask that you bring along a canned good that that will be donated to the local food bank. This is not a requirement but it’s a good way to get into the charitable spirit while simultaneously preparing yourself for flu season.
