Police Respond to Possible Burglary, Reportedly Find Meth, Pills Instead

A report of a possible burglary reportedly led to the discovery of methamphetamine Sunday morning. Starke County Police say they, along with Hamlet and Walkerton police, responded to a possible burglary in progress call at around 6:30 a.m. Officers say that when they got there, they determined that no burglary took place, but they did find methamphetamine, prescription pills, syringes, and paraphernalia.

Rochester Man Arrested for Drug-Related Offenses, following Plymouth Theft Investigation

A Plymouth theft investigation led to the arrest of a Rochester man for drug-related offenses. Plymouth Police say it happened Wednesday afternoon near First and Madison streets. They say they were investigating a theft that was reported a few blocks away when they arrested Richard Hinsey, 33, for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting law enforcement. Three Individuals Arrested in LaPaz After Investigation Reveals Illegal Drug Activity

Three people were arrested in LaPaz on Tuesday, after an investigation revealed illegal drug activity at a home in the 200 block of Michigan Street in LaPaz.

On June 12 at approximately 9:30 p.m., officers from the LaPaz Police Department, the Marshall County Drug Task Force, the Indiana State Police and the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department as well as troopers from the Indiana State Police executed a search warrant for a home located at 210 South Michigan Street.
