Plymouth Man Among Four Arrested After Police Reportedly Find Meth, Guns in Mishawaka Home

A Plymouth man was among four people arrested yesterday, after Indiana State Police served a search warrant yesterday at a home in Mishawaka. Officers say they found 18 grams of crystal meth, 15 firearms, and four stolen motorcycles. They also reportedly found a 1986 Corvette, a stolen motorcycle frame, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.

Two Sentenced on Drug Charges Stemming from March Traffic Stop

While services like https://emmausmedicalandrecovery.com/drug-rehab/ struggle hard to get people out of drugs, two men have been sentenced on drug charges in Marshall County. Marshall County Prosecutor Nelson Chipman says the charges stem from a March 5 traffic stop, when Bremen Police reportedly found more than 90 grams of methamphetamine and 2.8 grams of cocaine inside a Taco Bell bag.

Rochester Woman Sentenced on Possession of Methamphetamine Charge

On Wednesday, January 17th 44-year-old Geraldine Whitfield, of Rochester, appeared in Marshall Superior Court No. 1 where she was sentenced by agreement to 9 years imprisonment for Possession of Methamphetamine as a Level 3 Felony.

According to information released by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office, 7 of those years call for incarceration at the Indiana Department of Corrections followed by 2 years of reporting probation. Continue reading

Two Arrested for Theft, Drugs in Separate Incidents

Plymouth Police Department officers arrested two people on Tuesday after separate shoplifting incidents were reported.

Police say 22-year-old Jay E. Johnson, Jr., of Walkerton, took items from Walmart and ran from the store. The officer reportedly saw him trying to hide behind vehicles in the parking lot, but he was eventually detained. Officers reportedly found Johnson, Jr. to be in possession of methamphetamine. He was booked into the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of theft and possession methamphetamine. He has a cash bond of $3,005.

Tippecanoe Men Arrested, After Suspected Meth Found during Traffic Stop

A Thursday morning traffic stop led to the arrest of two Tippecanoe men. Marshall County Police say it happened around 12:45 a.m. near the intersection of Center Street and State Road 331.

Bremen Man Reportedly Found Hiding Under Tractor Arrested for Meth Possession

A Bremen man who was reportedly found hiding under a farm tractor last week was taken to jail for possession of methamphetamine. On the morning of Sunday, November 5, a Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputy says he saw a black Chevy pickup truck parked along U.S. 30, west of Iris Road at around 3:15 a.m. The officer says it was foggy, and the truck didn’t have any lights on, so he stopped to check on it. He says he didn’t find anyone inside, but he did notice “items within the vehicle associated with criminal activity.”

53 Grams of Crystal Meth Reportedly Found at Plymouth Home, Following Search Warrant

Four people were arrested Monday, after police reportedly found 53 grams of crystal methamphetamine at a Plymouth home. Shortly after 7:00 p.m., officers with the Marshall County Drug Task Force, Indiana State Police, Plymouth Police Department, and Marshall County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant at a home in the 7700 block of Rose Road.
