Sunday Morning Traffic Stop Reportedly Leads to Discovery of Meth, 200 Grams of Marijuana

Two people were arrested early Sunday morning, after police say they found about 200 grams of marijuana during a traffic stop near Bourbon. Marshall County Police say they pulled over a 1996 Ford Explorer for speeding, in the area of U.S. 30 and Beech Road.

Officers say the driver, Kaylan Ruth Ann Mikel, 22, of Warsaw, had a suspended license, as well as an active warrant through Kosciusko County. During the investigation, police say they also discovered that a passenger, Anna Grace Tackett, 29, of Kentucky, was in possession of methamphetamine. She also had an active federal warrant, according to police.

Officers searched the vehicle and reportedly found about 200 grams of marijuana packaged in large quantities. Bourbon Police assisted the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department.
