Three people were arrested in LaPaz on Tuesday, after an investigation revealed illegal drug activity at a home in the 200 block of Michigan Street in LaPaz.
On June 12 at approximately 9:30 p.m., officers from the LaPaz Police Department, the Marshall County Drug Task Force, the Indiana State Police and the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department as well as troopers from the Indiana State Police executed a search warrant for a home located at 210 South Michigan Street. A Knox man was sentenced on Wednesday in Marshall County Superior Court on charges of dealing methamphetamine.
33-year-old Ryan Smith was arrested in August of 2015 after a vehicle he was in was stopped by Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputies. An air sniff was conducted by a K9 Unit and indicated the presence of drugs inside the vehicle.

42-year-old Roger Runyon of South Bend was driving on US 30 around 10:00 p.m. when officers stopped his vehicle for a traffic violation. Further investigation revealed that Runyon was wanted on a warrant out of Fulton County for Failure to Appear in court.

21-year-old Olivia Ketcham was facing charges of Conspiracy to Deal in Methamphetamine. That’s a Class B Felony. As part of a plea deal, Ketcham admitted in court that she assisted another individual in the delivery of meth to a confidential informant.
A Plymouth woman was sentenced to in prison after she pleaded guilty to dealing methamphetamine.
39-year-old Tessa Mullins was sentenced on Wednesday in Marshall County Superior Court.
A Rochester man was sentenced on Thursday in Marshall County Superior Court.
28-year-old Kalin Hunsaker was given 20 years imprisonment for conspiracy to deal methamphetamine. The sentence was part of a plea deal that saw a forgery and habitual offender charge dropped. The 20-year sentence was the maximum allowable under the law.
