Traffic Stop Leads to Meth Discovery

A vehicle stopped in Plymouth on Friday led to the discovery of methamphetamine.

42-year-old Roger Runyon of South Bend was driving on US 30 around 10:00 p.m. when officers stopped his vehicle for a traffic violation. Further investigation revealed that Runyon was wanted on a warrant out of Fulton County for Failure to Appear in court.

Police searched Runyon only to allegedly find him to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Runyon’s passenger, 32-year-old Toshia Day out of Rochester was allegedly found to possess drug paraphernalia as well.

According to information released by the Plymouth Police Department, Runyon was booked into the Marshall County Jail on $3-thousand bond. He will appear in court in August.
