New Vehicles Coming to Marshall County Sheriff’s Department

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department will be getting four new squad cars this year.

The sheriff’s department is trading in four multi-purpose vehicles used as spare patrol vehicles or transport vehicles as well as reserve unit vehicles. Three out of the four are Crown Victoria patrol cars.

Two vehicles date back to 2009 with the oldest trade-in vehicle being a 2006 Ford Taurus. One 2011 model is also being replaced.

Stay Safe while Celebrating Super Bowl

Police around Indiana are reminding Hoosiers not to drink and drive over the Super Bowl weekend. Several local law enforcement agencies, including the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, are teaming up with the Governor’s Council on Impaired & Dangerous Driving and the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute to help prevent accidents and deaths resulting from impaired driving.
