Suspected Meth Dealer Arrested after Pursuit through Plymouth

A suspected meth dealer was apprehended, following a pursuit through Plymouth Thursday. The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department says that just before noon, county officers and Plymouth Police were attempting to stop Jason Clark Joseph, 44, of Plymouth, for a “controlled substance related criminal offense,” following an investigation by the Marshall County Drug Task Force.

Three Individuals Arrested in LaPaz After Investigation Reveals Illegal Drug Activity

Three people were arrested in LaPaz on Tuesday, after an investigation revealed illegal drug activity at a home in the 200 block of Michigan Street in LaPaz.

On June 12 at approximately 9:30 p.m., officers from the LaPaz Police Department, the Marshall County Drug Task Force, the Indiana State Police and the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department as well as troopers from the Indiana State Police executed a search warrant for a home located at 210 South Michigan Street. Drug Free Marshall County Awards Over $62,000 in Grant Funding to Local Schools, Law Enforcement & Treatment Providers

In an effort to combat drug and alcohol misuse, Drug Free Marshall County awarded more than $62,820 to area schools, criminal justice agencies and local treatment providers.

Drug Free Marshall County is a citizen board established in conjunction with the Governor’s Task Force on Enforcement, Treatment and Prevention. Funding is received through court-ordered fines from individuals who are convicted of drug and alcohol offenses in Marshall County. Continue reading

Two Arrested on Warrants for Dealing Drugs

Plymouth Police officers arrested two people in separate incidents who were wanted for dealing drugs.

On Monday, Jan. 8, officers stopped 29-year-old Wayne Austin Hardesty, of Grovertown, who was reportedly speeding and found that he had an active warrant for two counts of dealing in a schedule III drug. He was booked in the Marshall County Jail on those charges with a cash bond of $10,005.

Marshall County Prosecutor Asks to Apply for Grants

Marshall County Prosecutor Nelson Chipman approached the commissioners with a request to apply for two grants.

Prosecutor Chipman explained that IPAC Drug Prosecution Grant worth $2,000 was already approved. The money will be used for undercover drug buy money. He said the Marshall County Drug Task Force is very aggressive and that grant money will replenish the money supply for those efforts. The commissioners unanimously approved the grant request. Five Arrested, Following Plymouth Drug Investigation

A drug investigation in Plymouth led to the arrests of five people Friday morning. Officers from the Indiana State Police, Plymouth Police Department, and the Marshall County Drug Task Force say they served a search warrant at 212 Monroe Street. Police say they had gotten complaints about possible drug activity at the home, which is close to St. Michael Catholic School.

53 Grams of Crystal Meth Reportedly Found at Plymouth Home, Following Search Warrant

Four people were arrested Monday, after police reportedly found 53 grams of crystal methamphetamine at a Plymouth home. Shortly after 7:00 p.m., officers with the Marshall County Drug Task Force, Indiana State Police, Plymouth Police Department, and Marshall County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant at a home in the 7700 block of Rose Road.

Marshall County Prosecutor Files Drug, Prostitution Charges against Plymouth Man

Marshall County Prosecutor Nelson Chipman filed five charges against 68-year-old James A. Irwin, of Plymouth, who is suspected of drug dealing and solicitation of prostitution.

Irwin is facing felony charges of dealing in a schedule I, II, or III controlled substance, dealing a substance represented to be a controlled substance, and promoting prostitution. Two misdemeanor charges of patronizing a prostitute have also been filed. Additional charges are being considered by the prosecutor’s office.

Woman Arrested, After Marshall County Police Reportedly Find Meth in Culver-Area Home

A Marshall County narcotics investigation led to the arrest of a Culver woman Tuesday night. Officers with the Marshall County Police Department and the Marshall County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant around 11:40 p.m., at a home in the 16,000 block of 15B Road. Police say they found methamphetamine and paraphernalia in the home.

Seven Arrested on Drug Charges

Seven people were arrested on Wednesday night after officers executed a search warrant at a home in the 100 block of Green Street in Plymouth.

As a result of a search of the home, Marshall County Drug Task Force officers along with officers from the Plymouth Police Department and the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department filed charges of dealing marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, maintaining a common nuisance, and visiting a common nuisance.

Plymouth Man Arrested on Drug Charges

A Plymouth man was arrested Friday afternoon after a search warrant was executed at his home.

Officers with the Plymouth City Police Department and the Marshall County Drug Task Force arrived at 1125 W. Washington Street at 2:10 p.m. ET where Craig Clayton, 48, was taken into custody. He was transported to the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of dealing marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance.
