The Marshall County Drug Task Force Undercover Narcotics Investigation Team (UNIT) has been busy this week, with multiple suspects in custody on drug charges.
On Tuesday, July 24th UNIT Officers arrested 53-year-old Stanley Hite for possession of methamphetamine. He was lodged in the Marshall County Jail on $1,500 cash bond. The arrest of Victor Yakas, which was previously reported, was also the result of efforts by the UNIT Officers.
The following day on Wednesday, July 25th UNIT Officers, assisted by Marshall County and Plymouth Police Officers conducted a search warrant in the 200 block of Water Street in Plymouth.
Officers arrested 59-year-old Robert Mohn after they reportedly located and seized approximately 10 ounces of Marijuana, over 100 narcotic prescription pills, a handgun and over $1,600 in cash. Mohn was lodged at the Marshall County Jail with no bond on the Level 2 Felony charge of dealing in a narcotic drug.
Additionally on Wednesday, with assistance from the Indiana State Police, UNIT Officers located and arrested 42-year-old Dennis Branton for dealing in a narcotic drug, as a Level 4 Felony. Police apparently also located methamphetamine in his possession. Branton was lodged at the Marshall County Jail and was given a $50,000 bond.
