Marshall County Council to Hold Budget Hearing Today

Marshall County residents have the chance to weigh in on the county’s 2020 budget proposal. The required budget hearing will be held during this morning’s county council meeting. It starts at 9:00 a.m. in the Marshall County Building in Plymouth.

Struggling to Fund Necessary Home Repairs? Learn More about a Grant that Could Help Wednesday Afternoon

Community members are invited to attend an informational meeting hosted by the Marshall County Crossroads Stellar Housing Committee tomorrow afternoon.

According to Economic Development Project Manager Greg Hildebrand, the committee plans to provide information about the Owner-Occupied Housing Grant which could provide homeowners with up to $25,000 for home repairs, with no required match.

Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch is looking forward to seeing the final proposals from this year’s four Stellar Communities finalists. Marshall County Crossroads – made up of Argos, Bourbon, Bremen, Culver, Plymouth, and Marshall County itself – as well as Constellation of Starke – consisting of Hamlet, Knox, North Judson, and Starke County – are both in the running for the regional designation.
