The Marshall County Council approved Ordinance 2024-11(1) Amending Job Description Ordinance 2023-28B and Ordinance 2024-10(1) Amending Salary Ordinance 2023-25 to create a new part-time custodial position and establish funding for that salary. The Wage and Personnel subcommittee met with Grounds and Maintenance to discuss some absences. Custodians clean five buildings which is too much work for one individual.

The federal funding source is the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. There is no local match required by the County.
