Bremen School Board Appoints New Member to Library Board
The Bremen School Board authorized an appointment for the Bremen Public Library Board when members met on Monday.

Bremen Library Board Member Appointed During Marshall County Commissioner’s Meeting
Marshall County Commissioners made an appointment to the Bremen Library Board when they met on Monday.

Explore Bremen Public Library’s Innovative New Media Lab at Saturday’s Open House
You can be one of the first to explore the new media lab at Bremen Public Library during their open house this Saturday at 11 a.m.
Library Director Kyle Burkett explained that the media lab was possible thanks to a Library Services and Technology Act grant through the Institute of Museum and Library Services. He said the library was awarded approximately $10,000 last April and with that money, they were able to renovate the space, buy some new equipment and train staff members. Continue reading

If you’re seeking more ways to assist local children, you’ll have plenty of opportunities this week during CASA of Marshall County Information Days.
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Marshall County is a non-profit organization that is committed to speaking in the best interest of children who are abused or neglected. CASA recruits train and support volunteers to assist these kids in the family court system.
This week several local libraries will be hosting a CASA Information Day where people can come find out more about the program. Today, CASA representatives will be at the Bourbon Public Library providing information. Continue reading
