Bremen Library Board Member Appointed During Marshall County Commissioner’s Meeting

Marshall County Commissioners made an appointment to the Bremen Library Board when they met on Monday.

Auditor Julie Fox informed the commissioners that their initial appointment, Alison Mayer, recently told fellow Library Board members that due to personal circumstances, she has to resign from her position prior to the end of her term.

The Library Board suggested Kim Meyer as a replacement since she expressed an interest in serving out the remainder of the term which is set to expire on July 9th of 2021.

All three commissioners approved the recommendation and appointed Meyer to the open position.

According to the Bremen Public Library website, the library’s Board of Trustees consists of volunteers who bring professional expertise to determine and manage library policies and operations.

The Library Board meets regularly in the library’s meeting room on the last Monday of each month at 7 p.m. Their meetings are open to the public.
