A Handful of Holiday Events are Happening at Marshall County’s Local Libraries Today

Libraries across Marshall County are getting into the holiday spirit by hosting a few Christmas-themed events today.

From 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. the Friends of the Argos Public Library will be holding their annual cookie walk. Additionally, children will have a chance to visit with Santa from noon until 2 p.m. If you have any questions, call the Argos Public Library at 574-892-5818.

From 10:30 a.m. until noon, the Bremen Public Library is hosting a Christmas Craft Workshop where children in grades K-5 will have a chance to create homemade gifts for their loved ones with guidance and assistance from staff members.

Library staff encourages those who wish to participate to call ahead of time to ensure there will be enough supplies available. You can reach the Bremen Public Library at 574-546-2849.

Over at the Bourbon Public Library, there will be a few groups of patrons building gingerbread houses. Pre-registration was required for this event and it was so popular both sessions were all filled up by Friday afternoon.

Staff members did mention that if you call and leave your name and number, you could be contacted if there are any last-minute cancellations. You can reach the Bourbon Public Library 574-342-5655.
