United Way of Marshall County, in partnership with the Marshall County Community Foundation, has awarded over $100,000 to local organizations in the past two months that help provide food, housing and utility assistance to households impacted by COVID-19. The Bremen Boys & Girls Club is believed to have been exposed to a presumptive positive COVID-19 patient. The Marshall County Health Department says it was notified Saturday that the exposure happened on March 9. Health Department officials say they’ve begun a contact investigation and will continue to gather information.

Executive Director for Boys and Girls Club Resigns, Board of Directors Seek Replacement
The Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Marshall County announced that they are searching for a new executive director, following the resignation of Billie Treber.
In a press release, officials said that Treber made the personal decision to pursue the next chapter in her career and that the board sincerely hopes she achieves that perfect work-life balance.
Treber played a critical role in the development and success of the organization and was thanked for her dedication and passion that she’s shown to the youth of Marshall County during her 17-year tenure. Continue reading

Incentives for a snack producer moving into the Marshall County Shell Building will be considered this evening by the Plymouth Common Council.
