Argos Fire Department Makes Funding Arrangements for the Purchase of Uniforms
The Argos Volunteer Fire Department is working out funding arrangements in order to purchase some uniforms. The matter was discussed when the town council met Wednesday evening.
Clerk-Treasurer Lisa Mullaney noted that while the uniforms may not be utilized for calls since the firefighters suit up in their gear in whatever they’re wearing at the time, the uniforms will be useful for other community events. Continue reading
Argos Officials Hope to Secure OCRA Grant to Help Fund Potential New EMS and Fire Department Building
After consulting with a grant writer, Argos Town Council members were informed about an OCRA grant available for 90/10 match that could be utilized for a possible new Fire and EMS building.
