It was a rainy Election Day, but that didn’t keep the voters from the vote centers. However, only 4,053 voters out of Marshall County’s 29,466 registered voters ventured to the polls. That’s 13.75 percent voter turnout.

PLYMOUTH — The Plymouth Common Council approved support of Plymouth Fire Department (PFD) Chief Steve Holm’s request to purchase a 2024 Pierce Velocity pumper (fire engine).

PLYMOUTH — Utilities Superintendent Donnie Davidson updated the Plymouth Board of Public Works that there were timing issues interfering with the completion of the Solar Project at the Wastewater Treatment Facility at full scale.

BREMEN—After over two years of discussions between the park department, town council, and school, Bremen is beginning to finalize their plan to renovate the aquatic facility in the park. Since the park pool has been part of the Bremen tradition for well over half a century, this has been a point of passionate debate since the subject was first brought to the table in 2019 after the pool received superstructure damage during the 2018 flood.
The Marshall County Election Board members heard from Nicole Haskins Wednesday morning who explained her concerns with several campaign finance reports filed in 2020 and 2022.
