Marshall County Sheriff’s Department Investigates Intruder Incident

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a call about an intruder at a home in the 11,000 block of Gumwood Road.

Police say that the call was made to the Marshall County Dispatch Center just before 11 a.m. ET on Friday, April 22 where the unknown person was attempting to steal items from the home.  A resident was home at the time of the incident and found the intruder who reportedly immediately left the home and ran east toward Lincoln Highway, according to the report.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man in his early 20s who is approximately 5’8” to 5’10” with an average build, very short brown hair and a few days growth of dark facial hair.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by an Indiana State Police K9 and Bourbon Police Department.
