
The Marshall County Commissioners will once again consider an agreement with the City of Plymouth to share the use of the County’s Planning and Inspection Departments.
AAA is predicting a recording breaking year for holiday travelers.
The group is expecting nearly one in three Americans will make a trip of 50 miles or more this year. It represents a 1.4-percent increase over the same period one year ago. AAA says the number of travelers has increased each year over the last seven years.

The Town of Argos plans to re-do a vote taken last month to determine who fills a vacancy on its Town Council.
During their November 18th meeting, the Argos Town Council took a vote to break a tie between incumbent Dustin Johnson (D) and Randy Snead (R) following the General Municipal Election. The Marshall County Clerk’s office notified the town of the need to break the tie after certifying that one had indeed taken place.

The Culver Community Schools Corporation has wrapped up its bond refunding process. Superintendent Vicki McGuire says it will give the corporation just under a million dollars for some small construction projects. During Monday morning’s meeting, administrators within the county government questioned how the County Council is now approving budget transfers. According to multiple department heads, county elected officials are not necessarily required to approve budget line item transfers within the same fund.
