Spilled milk led to some traffic headaches near Plymouth Monday afternoon. The Indiana Department of Transportation says a crash at U.S. 30 and Queen Road spilled around 500 gallons of milk onto the roadway.

Plymouth Police say around 5:10 p.m., a vehicle was heading east on the Michigan Street overpass, when ice caused it to slide into the guardrail and then come to a stop in the roadway. Another vehicle was slowing down, when it was rear-ended by another vehicle, according to officers, setting off a chain reaction.

North Judson Man Dies in Kosciusko County Crash
A North Judson man is dead, after a crash Monday morning in Kosciusko County. Officials with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department say it happened around 6:40 EDT at the intersection of U.S. 30 and 350 West. Witnesses told police that a 2015 Peterbilt semi was trying to turn left onto westbound U.S. 30, when the driver slowed down or stopped in the median. That’s when an eastbound Dodge passenger car reportedly hit the semi.

INDOT Closes Section of State Road 17 For Chip and Sealing Operations
Starting today, Culver residents and commuters should be prepared for an ongoing road closure on State Road 17.
The Indiana Department of Transportation announced that State Road 17 in Marshall County will be closed between State Road 8 and State Road 10 as crews perform chip sealing operations. Two people were arrested early Sunday morning, after police say they found about 200 grams of marijuana during a traffic stop near Bourbon. Marshall County Police say they pulled over a 1996 Ford Explorer for speeding, in the area of U.S. 30 and Beech Road.
Bremen Man Reportedly Found Hiding Under Tractor Arrested for Meth Possession
A Bremen man who was reportedly found hiding under a farm tractor last week was taken to jail for possession of methamphetamine. On the morning of Sunday, November 5, a Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputy says he saw a black Chevy pickup truck parked along U.S. 30, west of Iris Road at around 3:15 a.m. The officer says it was foggy, and the truck didn’t have any lights on, so he stopped to check on it. He says he didn’t find anyone inside, but he did notice “items within the vehicle associated with criminal activity.”
Marshall County Coroner Provides More Details about Fatal Accident on U.S. 30
The name of the driver who was pronounced dead at the scene of a two-vehicle accident on U.S 30 west of Oak Drive in Plymouth has been released. Marshall County Coroner John Grolich reported that 64-year-old James Michael, of Lucerne, suffered from a sudden acute medical emergency which left him unresponsive while behind the wheel of his pick-up truck Tuesday evening.
