Slick Conditions Led to Nine-Vehicle Crash on U.S. 30 Monday

Nine vehicles were involved in a chain reaction crash on U.S. 30 in Plymouth Monday evening. Plymouth Police say around 5:10 p.m., a vehicle was heading east on the Michigan Street overpass, when ice caused it to slide into the guardrail and then come to a stop in the roadway. Another vehicle was slowing down, when it was rear-ended by another vehicle, according to officers, setting off a chain reaction.

Police say three drivers were transported by Plymouth EMS with minor injuries.
