Continue readingPLYMOUTH — Plymouth Utilities Superintendent Donnie Davidson provided a Solar Project at the Wastewater Treatment Facility update to the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety – “We are producing electricity.” There were certain times when the solar unit was producing more energy than the facility was consuming. There was a small issue with fuses in one portion of it; which will be rectified by the manufacturer. Nonetheless, the unit is working well. “Everything is looking good. We’ve had some beautiful days to test it out. So far so good.”

PLYMOUTH — Utilities Superintendent Donnie Davidson updated the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety (PBPWS) on the Solar Project at the Wastewater Treatment Facility; 90% of the framework and panels have been installed. The underground conduits should be complete prior to the end of this week successfully beating frozen ground. According to Davidson the team will start stringing wires next week. “The potential start up for the project at this point appears to be late or mid-to-late January. We are trying to coordinate that with NIPSCO and also the other two school projects that are going on.”
