Ora Man Arrested at Plymouth Walmart for Theft, Possession of a Legend Drug

A report of a theft at the Plymouth Walmart led to the arrest of an Ora man, but not before police reportedly found drugs in his possession. Plymouth Police say that around 10:00 Thursday night, they got a call of a theft in progress. When officers got to Walmart, they say they found Charles E. Jensen, 45, cutting items out of packages. Police took him into custody and reportedly found him to be in possession of a legend drug.

Rochester Man Arrested for Drug-Related Offenses, following Plymouth Theft Investigation

A Plymouth theft investigation led to the arrest of a Rochester man for drug-related offenses. Plymouth Police say it happened Wednesday afternoon near First and Madison streets. They say they were investigating a theft that was reported a few blocks away when they arrested Richard Hinsey, 33, for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting law enforcement. Metal Detectors, Emergency Plan Updates Discussed During Plymouth School Board Meeting

Schools around Indiana will soon get handheld metal detectors. Now, school safety officials have to figure out how they’re going to use them. Last month, Governor Eric Holcomb launched a program that gives metal detector wands to every school that requests them. But it doesn’t provide funding for guards to staff a security checkpoint.

Plymouth Man Faces Another Child Molestation Charge

Another sexual molestation allegation has been made against 20-year-old Edgar Herrera, of Plymouth.

According to Detective-Sergeant Leo Mangus of the Plymouth Police Department, on Monday, June 4th a second juvenile female reported that she was also sexually molested by Herrera. The minor was apparently 11-years old at the time of the incident which reportedly occurred in March of this year. Continue reading
