Marshall County, Plymouth City Officials Provide Update on Local Public Healthcare Crisis

Plymouth, Indiana – August 12, 2022 – In late June, Marshall County and the City of Plymouth issued a
press release drawing attention to what has been viewed as a local public healthcare crisis as a result of
St. Joseph Health System’s recent closure of physician practices throughout the county and the
discontinuation of other medical services at the Plymouth hospital campus.

Commissioners Establish Number of Trustees for Proposed Regional Sewer District

MARSHALL COUNTY — The public hearing for the proposed Regional Sewer District is set for Monday, Feb. 21 at 6 p.m. ET in Room 203 of the Marshall County Building. The public hearing will allow residents of the county an opportunity to voice their opinions about the matter.

Linda Rippy Honored by Marshall County Commissioners

Plaque Given to MCEDC in Remembrance of Roger Umbaugh

The Marshall County Commissioners took time to remember Roger Umbaugh Monday morning who served as the president of the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors from its inception in 2007 to 2019, and Umbaugh’s service to the Marshall County community.  He passed away in August of this year.
