The Indiana Department of Natural Resources issued a press release today, seeking public assistance in finding two stolen Law Enforcement Snowmobiles that were taken from Potato Creek State Park near the town of North Liberty.

Newton County Tree Stand Fall Prompts Hunting Safety Reminder
Hunters are reminded to stay safe while using tree stands. Over the weekend, an Illinois man broke eight bones in his neck and back when he fell from a tree stand while deer hunting in Newton County, according to Indiana Conservation Officers.
Indiana Conservation Officers Investigate Accidental Drownings
Two boys lost their lives in an accidental drowning in Redinger Ditch in Argos on Sunday afternoon.
Indiana Conservation Officers were called to investigate the incident in the area of 20th Road and Gumwood Road around 2:30 p.m. Officers say several juveniles were playing in or around the ditch when one fell into the body of water and began to struggle. The other juveniles attempted to save the boy by linking together to form a human chain, but another boy fell into the water. Both boys, Mahlon Z. Martin, 13, and Kenneth Z. Martin, 12, drowned in the incident.
