A 13-year-old Plymouth boy sustained serious injuries in a Saturday off-road vehicle crash in Marshall County. Tanner Feece was driving the ORV in a private field near the 18000 block of Lincoln Highway, according to Indiana Conservation Officers. He was making a high-speed turn when the ORV overturned, pinning Feece underneath the side-by-side vehicle. He was airlifted to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne for treatment of unspecified serious injuries.

His passenger, 13-year-pold Andrew Aker of Plymouth, was thrown off the ORV. Neither youngster was wearing protective gear or seatbelts. Aker was treated at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth for a broken arm.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and Plymouth Fire/EMS assisted Indiana Conservation Officers with the response.
